New Scientist Live Manchester and Online 2022
The Quantum City team will be taking an exciting collection of interactive quantum technologies demonstrations to the New Scientist Live Manchester science festival, scheduled to take place at Manchester Central between January 29 - 31, 2022.
New Scientist Live is a multi-award winning festival and 2022 will be the first time it is branching out from London to the north of England. It will feature the same mix of thought-provoking talks, interactive exhibits and hands-on scientific experiences as the hugely successful London show. Over three days from 29-31 January 2022 at Manchester Central, New Scientist Live Manchester will feature three stages with numerous fascinating talks covering everything from the big bang to the future of artificial intelligence. With seating for over 2,000, visitors will be inspired by the line-up of world-class speakers presenting ideas that explain and shape our world from gene editing to cosmic expansion.
The heart of New Scientist Live Manchester will be a bustling 1,800 sqm exhibition space, wowing visitors with dozens of engaging exhibits from major STEM institutions and corporations plus interactive activities and inspiring features curated by New Scientist Live. 9,000 highly engaged visitors from across the north of England and Scotland will be inspired by what they hear, see and touch and have their passions awaken by new experiences and ideas.
