Girls in Quantum, the global quantum education organisation, is looking for volunteers to join its ranks! Originally founded in 2022, by Elisa Torres Durney, Girls in Quantum is active in 68 countries. Its team of volunteers work with young researchers, students and enthusiasts across the world to provide education resources, training and networking opportunities, and collaborative partnerships with industry in order to promote understanding and create excitement for the emerging quantum technologies, with a particular focus on quantum computing.

Now, and for the first time in years, Girls in Quantum are looking to expand their volunteer operations team by inviting applications from young people who love quantum science and science outreach, and are keen to be involved. Anyone (and not just girls!) with ideas about creating content, pulling together teaching resources, writing and/or translating, doing design work, reaching out through social media, or organising events, is welcome to apply and help the community to grow.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis so applying early will pay off. To find out more about the work of the organisation, visit https://www.girlsinquantum.com/ and to apply, fill in this application form.

The first round of applications closes on October 16^th, 2026.
