What is Quantum City?

Quantum City was set up in 2018 with input from partners such as NPL and the UCL and Bristol Centres for Doctoral Training. Following a public dialogue report (commissioned by EPSRC) to explore and understand public views on quantum technologies, one of the key recommendations which emerged was the 'opportunity and growing need for the quantum community to tell its own story'. Quantum City aims to do exactly this, through explaining the various technologies and potential impact transparently, to allow people to form their own thoughts and views about emerging quantum technologies.
